An Investment Opportunity with Legs

January 21st, 2017

A friend who is good with money suggested I look into cannabis real estate in California as a potential investment opportunity. I’ve made a bundle off of a political website in the last year and a half and wanted somewhere to park some money. I didn’t even consider cannabis, but I definitely should have at least thought about it. California recently legalized marijuana and the potential for growth their is enormous. It’s huge, and everyone with some money should be jumping on this bandwagon as quickly as possible. It’s best to get in early while they’re still setting up the legal structure.

So I looked into the company I found and what they appear to do is act as a landlord. They’ve bought up properties suitable for growing operations and then they find great tenants who actually know what they’re doing and get them into the properties. Read the rest of this entry »

Comfortable Getaway Living for My Wife

January 5th, 2017

My wife and I live in Boston where I work as at a high level in one of the law firms in the city. After several consultations with her doctor, I decided to look into Revere apartments for rent to help her with a health issue that has plagued her for most of her life. My wife suffers from extreme depression and anxiety, and city living has been making it worse over the last several years. It’s gotten so bad as of late that she’s undergone several hospitalizations, each one longer than the preceding one. Her doctor recommended looking into a second home or apartment in an area that is more relaxing and quiet.

I found a great complex that is a minute or two from a public beach and boasts a plethora of amenities that should be of comfort to my wife when she stays there. It’s still a heavily trafficked area, but at night it gets fairly quiet and think walks on the beach should help alleviate her condition to some extent. The doctor thinks so too. Moving entirely out of the area isn’t an option due to my demanding job, so we’re going to try this and see how it shakes out.

My wife really does enjoy the comfort of the building and especially it’s quiet atmosphere. While many people live there, the actual apartments seem quiet. No one is up causing noise and the people are friendly. We explained the situation to the office staff and they’re behind us one hundred percent and also think my wife will enjoy her stays at the apartment. My hope is that we will be able to reintegrate her into the house, but if not at least she’s not that far away and I can always spend time with her in my off hours.

When You Need It They Are There

January 5th, 2017

I run a very low powered radio station out of my basement. Sounds cool, right? Well, it is until you need broadcast equipment maintenance. My dream was always to work in radio, which is sort of an anachronism in this day and age of the internet and digital communications. There are people who make a lot of money in radio, but there are very few. It really is sort of an antique broadcast form when you think about it. I expect that it will largely disappear in the next twenty years or so. There will still be people talking into a microphone, but it’s all going to be digital and very overproduced.

I still do it the old fashioned way, with a transmitter and antenna and microphone. Read the rest of this entry »

A Good Wedding Photographer Will Capture Emotions

September 30th, 2016

There is a difference between the work that an individual does, when they love their job, and the work that an individual does when they are working to just make money. When a person loves their job, they just put their heart into it. It could be something as relatively simple as making a sandwich, at a fast food restaurant. If a person loves what they do, the sandwich that they’re going to make is going to be the best one that you have ever eaten. The same applies to other things as well. The wedding photographers at doerman photography love weddings, and this is clearly seen in every single wedding photograph that they take. There is no doubt that http://www.doerman.com are the best at wedding photography in nashville.

A good wedding photographer, is not just going to capture events, no they’re going to be able to capture a moment. This is going to include all of the feelings, emotions, and exhilaration that is connected to the moment that they’re capturing with their camera. A good wedding photographer is going to be able to take pictures that, the bride and groom, are going to be able to show to their grandchildren years from now and the grandchildren will instantly understand everything that was going on in that picture.

A good wedding photographer will also be able to design an album in such a way that it embodies a couple that they are working for. Every single couple has their own feel to them, their own way of expressing themselves and relating to one another. It is the job of a wedding photographer to be able to on the wedding day capture all of that. Wedding photographers have to understand how to walk a very thin line. They have to understand the difference between being in the right place at the right time to get the perfect shot, and being intrusive. However if a photographer can carefully walk that line they are going to be able to capture images that will be breathtaking.

Best Toys for Single Women

November 21st, 2015

I am just now getting out of a pretty serious relationship and I am glad to be through with it because it became an abusive relationship at some point and I don’t really know when that happened. But it was pretty bad and I am glad to be done with it. But I want to buy some magic wand attachments at the moment because I am feeling kind of lonely in the bedroom. Read the rest of this entry »

My Children Don’t Know Just How Smart I Am

January 5th, 2017

My kids have been at me for many months about the things that they want for Christmas. I tried to tell them both that they should be mailing a letter to Santa with all their requests, but they thought that was pretty funny because they say they know that he doesn’t exist. So, they pester me quite a bit. I try to act as if I’m not paying attention when they talk about the things they want. They hope that I will buy gaming accessories and a lot of things for their bedrooms such a chairs for their friends and such.

When it comes to Christmas presents, I hear a lot of ‘Mom, did you hear me? Mom?” I figure if my boys really knew that they have my ear at all times, the gift requests would increase even further. So, it’s best to act innocent, and then surprise them on Christmas day. When it comes to the truly important things like schoolwork, music lessons and how they are doing over all, I immediately turn my full attention to what they are saying. You would think they would have noticed a pattern, but they haven’t yet. That is a good thing. Even when I am busy, I know that I need to pay attention to what my kids are talking about.

The boys are getting old enough that I can’t really hide gifts in the house very easily anymore. As soon I am away from the house for a short time, they start digging and searching around the house because they hope to find out where I hide gifts at. I overheard them talking about it. But I outsmarted them and have all gifts shipped to their grandparent’s house instead. When it comes time wrap everything, I will head over there to do it, and then put everything under the tree on Christmas Eve.

Figuring out the Best Civil Engineering Software to Use

June 15th, 2016

The field of civil engineering is constantly evolving and that is especially the case where software is concerned. There are a large number of tools available to civil engineers to help them accomplish their modeling and analysis for projects they are working on. It can be hard to keep up with the different software to find the one that best suits what you are working on. This can especially be true for those that work on more varied projects as it is likely that different civil engineering software may work better at times on some type of projects than it does on another. Without having enough time to master all of the software, it is best to find a few that encompass the work you do the best, and then learn the particulars of those.

Almost all civil engineering software that is well known and used in the industry will likely do a good job of modeling and analysis. But if you are working on constructing a regular single story building one year and a multi-story building project the following year, then there might be different programs that will work better for you. I Like to Dress for Success

May 11th, 2016

I am a young man in my prime. I take great pride in my appearance. I exercise regularly and eat the right foods. I also keep my hair and mustache trimmed and shaved. Most importantly, I always make sure I have the appropriate clothes for the appropriate occasion. My father taught me at an early age that I have to dress for success in life. I am able to dress for causal, formal, and black-tie events. My collection of unique bow ties aid me in my pursuit of the perfect style. With these little trinkets, I can maneuver through any environment.

I prefer pre-tied bows to wear. I like them because the ties are convenient and easy to use. I do not have to waste time struggling to tie on myself. I can just put it on my neck and go where I need to go. My collection has an eclectic mix for me to choose at my whim.

One of my favorite ties is my dollar tie. It is a necktie with a design of a one dollar bill. Read the rest of this entry »

I Can See Clearly Now

May 11th, 2016

I’ve injured myself many times while trying to enter my home at night because of a lack of light. There is a porch light in my home, but I can’t turn it on from the outside. I even started carrying a flashlight around with me, but the batteries eventually died, and I injured myself again. The only way to fix this problem was to get landscape lighting in Pompano Beach. Lighting on the outside of my home that could be activated without an inside switch was essential, because it would allow me to get to the inside without stepping on anything.

Wiring on the outside would have cost more than I was willing to spend, so I decided to go with portable lighting that was powered by the sun. The lighting has a solar cell at the top that absorbs sunlight during the day. When the night comes, there is a sensor that knows that there is a lack of light, so it turns on the light that runs from the stored solar energy. The light will stay on until sunrise, and then start the energy absorption process all over again. The lights become really bright in the nighttime.

Even when there are days where the sun is being blocked by clouds, the solar cells can still absorb and store enough light to light the outside. Since the lights aren’t permanently fixed to the ground, I can move them to any point I want. Right now I have them arranged around the porch. I’m thinking about getting some more to put along the driveway, similar to the landing lights at an airport. Another bonus of having the lights is that I can see whenever anyone tries to come on my lawn in the middle of the night. There are a few dogs that roam the neighborhood at night.

Becoming a Great Internet Entrepreneur

December 23rd, 2015

I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, a self made man, and the like. It has been a hard road in my life so far though and I have worked a lot of jobs that I would have rather not worked. At my last job I ended up getting a hernia while lifting heavy boxes. That made me realize it was time to try to do something else and I am reading these Ewen Chia reviews to learn more about a guy who has made millions on the internet and I am really interested to find out if I think that it would be feasible to try to do something similar to what he has done to make all of his money.

I think it would be amazing to be able to make all of my money on the internet, because if I had a job preference, it would be to work from home and not have to commute to work every dya. Read the rest of this entry »

Financial Wisdom from a Friend

December 22nd, 2015

One of my friends called me on the phone one day and told me that he had just gotten more money in one day than he would in an entire month. I asked him how he did it, and he told me that it was all because of Ewen Chia. I thought he was talking about one of those Chia Pets that they sell during the holidays where you grow your own plants, but it was something entirely different. Chia was the name of a person who was a wizard at affiliate marketing, and my friend had been following his techniques for a while.

As someone who has grown tired of working a boring desk job for peanuts over the years, I jumped at the chance to have a different source of income. I practically begged my friend to teach me everything he knew, and he agreed, under the condition that I would have to buy him lunch with the first amount of money that I earned from using the techniques. I agreed and we got down to business. Read the rest of this entry »

The Company is Sending Me to Singaore

November 5th, 2015

I am still in New South Wales for a couple of weeks, living in one of the suburbs of Sydney. I really like it here and it is not my idea to move to Singapore, but the company is not really looking for my opinion on the matter. They have a problem there and I am going to solve it for them. Right now I am looking at this web page which is supposed to help you find a new condo in Singapore. The sense I get is that I am going to be over there for a good long time and it is probable that I am going to be there for at least a year. Read the rest of this entry »

Working Towards a Health Goal

September 2nd, 2015

I knew I needed to do something about my weight, but I was too embarrassed to exercise in front of other people. I tried doing exercise videos, but I am just not nimble enough for those. I wanted to walk, but I wanted to do it in private. That is why I decided to look at some folding treadmill reviews to see if any of them would be good for me. I wanted to be able to put the treadmill away every night. I was worried if I didn’t, then it would turn into a very expensive coat rack.

I knew that I would be able to discipline myself if I had to bring it out and put it away every evening, plus it would not be in the way since my house is not that big. Read the rest of this entry »

Just Got the Baby Home from the Hospital

September 1st, 2015

There were some minor complications with mother and child, but we have finally come to the end of it and we are all back at home. Lin is going to stay home with the child for some time and we are looking to do everything as well as we can. She has found a web page that delivers organic baby products in Singapore. I am not sure that I see the point of that really, but I suppose that the food is going to be healthier, at least that is the whole theory behind buying organic food. Read the rest of this entry »

Getting a New Shower and Tub

March 12th, 2015

When my husband and I decided to change our bathroom up a bit, we got pretty excited. When we had first bought our house nearly a dozen years ago, we knew we were going to remodel most of the rooms at one point or another. I wanted to start with the bathroom, but the kitchen and living room seemed to be better choices. As soon as we were able to start thinking about redoing the bathroom, I went online to get some information from www.plumbersbristol.org. I knew they were the ones that I wanted to do the plumbing work because of the work they did on one of my friend’s house.

She had told me that they were very quick and professional with the work, and they were also the ones that gave her the lowest quote since she did shop around for the best price. Read the rest of this entry »
