As someone who has been paying for DirecTV, I’ve come to respect them as a company and an optional choice against the rising faults within the cable industry. It is without a doubt a serious problem which is facing many American Consumers; do they choose satellite television or do they continue on with their cable service providers despite the abuse that so many are beginning to face? I think the problem is simple, really; for a service which demands so much upkeep and constant interaction with their customers, they’ve come to the point where they actually have far too many customers to handle effectively.
Clearly something has to be done about this and a new approach has to be created. I think much of the issue lies in the fact that they offer not just cable service packages but also the Internet, which has many direct competitors. Read the rest of this entry »

Moving from Louisville, Kentucky to Middletown, Ohio was not the drastic transition that I thought it would turn out to be. It’s not like I’m unfamiliar with Ohio but I’ve only been to Cincinnati a few times to visit the Newport Aquarium so I thought that Cincinnati was probably more like Kentucky considering the border that they share together. I really expected the rest of Ohio to turn out to be something quite different! Fortunately, they even have Direct TV here too so I was able to sign up with Direct TV in New Middletown with ease. In todays day and age many people take high-speed broadband Internet connections for granted. After all, with most of the country running at these speeds, it makes sense for websites and content delivery systems to optimize the experience for these people. However, until recently, some rural areas did not have so many options for getting connected properly. Technologies like fiber optic internet and high-speed cable connections are rolled out in highly populated areas first, so those outside of them often have to wait. However, with the growing capabilities of satellite and other connections, rural internet service is now catching up and making up for lost time. Of course with this increase in options comes an increase in competition. Read the rest of this entry »

I knew that I was going to have to shop for affordable internet as I wanted to make sure that I was not going to have to apply for another instant payday loan that was going to give me some money so that I could pay all of my bills. The problem with these loans is that I do not like to owe anyone money and I was going to have to pay the loans directly out of my paychecks. They draw the money that I owe them right out of my checking account when I get paid on payday. It was really important to me that I was able to pay for my internet services and I did not want to have to borrow money to do so. Even just saving twenty dollars per month on my internet was going to be a big help to me. I think it is sad that saving twenty dollars per month was going to be able to help me in the long run. I sort of lucked in to something on this house. A couple of weeks ago there was this guy at my door and he gave me his business card and started asking me about the house. Of course the house was in the family for close to a hundred years and it was older than that. He was a location scout for a movie or tv show, eventually we made a deal. He and I split the cost to hire a company that does exterior restoration in NYC and I let him use the house for his movie. It was not his movie. The movie was being made by this East European guy. My wife and I were watching the news last night and were quite surprised to find out a neighbor down the street was the victim of a home invasion. We got home late from work and pretty much went straight to bed. When we got up in the morning we were out the door in a hurry to get back to work. We did not see any police cars or anything. We had an increase in this sort of crime in our area so I decided to look up davis security companies that could install an alarm system in our house.
I know I wanted video surveillance too. I wanted to be able to see who was at the door before opening it. I learned that the intruders pushed their way inside after ringing the doorbell when the daughter partially opened the door to see who it was. They knocked her completely off her feet and they threatened everyone in the house. They were looking for cash and drugs. This is the typical scenario repeated all across the country practically every day. We wanted an early warning system and a way to see outside before opening the door. Read the rest of this entry »

People often times ask me where I got my mangement training from, I personally did not get any management training, I wish that I had before I started but I just did not, so I was a bit nervous on my first day as a manager, it was kind of hard to get into the swing of things because I had no schooling and I had no experience, so I just lie to them all and tlel them that I had management training in melbourne. I know that the schools out there are great and are able to prepare people for the challenges that are brought up every single day if you are a manager. For this reason I have been sending people that way so that they can get the training they need to deal with any situation. Read the rest of this entry »

I will need to rent a storage unit in the near future. I am moving out of the condo that I bought with my wife, because I found out that she is having an affair behind my back. I must admit it is really crushing to my ego, to learn such things. But I should have seen it coming. I am kind of a boring guy, and she really likes passionate people. Anyway, I am going to need to look at the deals at Store Friendly in Singapore.
I was referred to this storage unit company by a friend of mine, and I guess that he has used them in the past for his storage needs. Read the rest of this entry »

I just took over ownership of my parents’ old house. They have not lived in it for some time, but my mother just recently passed away, and left the house to me. It is ind kind of a state of disrepair. I would like to get it fixed up though, as I have a lot of fond memories of the house, and I want to keep it in the family. I need to look for Newark NJ home insurance prices, because the house is located in Newark, which is where I grew up.
I do not live in the great state of New York anymore, but I still take trips up there on a regular basis. Read the rest of this entry »

We needed a maid after the baby arrived and my mother-in-law was not physically fit enough at this point in her life to help us to the degree she desired. We mainly got a maid to relieve her of the guilt she was feeling. She had promised over and over again to be a big help if we had a baby because she desperately desired a grandchild. Then she had some health problems that came along as soon as we were expecting our baby, which turned out to be triplets! Now you see why a transfer maid was so beneficial to us.
My parents were both deceased, and we only had my wife’s parents to help us. My father-in-law is quite busy providing care for my mother-in-law, and I certainly did not want to burden either of them. My wife was convinced she could handle it all on her own, even when I had to leave on two week stints away from home for my job. There was no way I was going to let that happen. I originally was going to just have help for when I was not at home. Read the rest of this entry »

When I was looking at condos, I had a lot to consider. If it was just for me, it would be an easy decision. However, I have a wife and three children to consider also. Not only do I have to find a condo that is close to my work, but I also have to consider the school district that we will be in as well as the things surrounding the development. When I started reading information on marina one, I knew that I had found the perfect place for all of us.
It was a short drive from my work, so I was happy. Read the rest of this entry »

When I decided to paint my bedroom, I didn’t realize that I taken on more than I could handle. I planned on doing just one wall at a time. I moved the furniture as much as I could, and I thought I had it under control. Nothing could be further from the truth. My room looked horrible when I was done, and I realized that I should have left it to a professional. I had no choice but to call one in, so I did an online search for interior painter in bergen county nj.
I wanted to find a painter who had great references and was also not too expensive. I called around and got several quotes, and I immediately crossed out all but one of them. Read the rest of this entry »

A recent winter storm has left a bit of a mess on my property, and that is putting things lightly. I own quite a bit of property, and it took awhile for me to completley survey the damage. However, it looks like I have at least a dozen fallen trees that I would like to get cleaned up in the near future. Some fallen trees are not going to be dealt with right now, because they are not in an area where I am concerned about. I am looking for a tree service in westchester ny that does their work for cheap, as I do not want to end up spending that much money on this process.
I really only have a limited amount of money that I am going to be willing to spend on tree removal, but I can’t leave my yard in this current condition. It really looks a bit like a war zone, and most importantly, there is a tree that is blocking my driveway. Right now, I currently have to drive around the tree, to get in and out of my house. I am in the process of dedicating a room in my house as being an exercise room, or gym, and I need to purchase some equipment for the room. My hope is to get everyone in the family to exercise in it, and hopefully, as a family, we can get into better shape. Right now, I am looking into the best adjustable dumbbells that exist, because I think that adjustable dumbbells are a great idea, and something that the whole family could make use of for a number of reasons.
I have always been a supporter of the use of free weights, because I think that they allow you to work more muscle groups than certain exercises on machines. I am looking for adjustable weights, for a couple of reasons. Read the rest of this entry »

When you’re on vacation without any transportation you can quickly find yourself becoming easily lost within the public transportation infrastructure. My parents decided to take us all to Malaysia for my 18th birthday and while I certainly appreciated the gesture, I wasn’t entirely sure why they chose Malaysia of all places for us to go. As far as I know, none of us have even mentioned going to Malaysia or that we have any interest in it! It wasn’t long before we were getting lost, forcing my dad to rent car in Penang and then a driver – obviously none of us had a Malaysian license!
Needless to say, it was an interesting vacation. My father did seem to have a goal in mind while he was here which I suspected was almost wholly business related – that’s fine, whatever. I don’t mind the fact that he wanted to combine a business trip with our family vacation despite the fact that he said it was for my birthday. Read the rest of this entry »

I have to get myself a nice hair cut and some nice clothes apparently, that is what Dede is saying she has decided that I have to look more like a successful composer and less like a touring rock and roll musician. Apparently that is what she told her Dad. She claimed that I wrote the score to movies, which is sort of true. I have written music that was featured in movies, but in fact I am a working musician who does what comes up. I have find out more about car rental in Singapore it seems, because I do not seem to be able to figure out what I am doing just yet.

In primary school we had a class on foreign politics. I got really interested in the United States political process. The system was intriguing, especially when you got to know the players and their own personal troubles. This got me interested in global politics. I learned the different systems of government, and I learned a lot about the various politicians. It is kind of funny how I learned the political system in my country more in depth after learning about some others. This early interest helped me when choosing colleges in Singapore to go to. My career field, even though I studied governments as a hobby and academically, was wide open. Still, I needed a degree to get me in the door.
I thought I might do well at writing books about the subject. I considered teaching too.

Thanks to a company that does exterior restoration in nyc, I was able to start my own school. My school is a unique one in the area that specialise in teaching people of all ages to work with technology. The school has different classes for learning different programming languages, learning about hardware components, and even learning about robots. My goal is to create an entire neighborhood of people who are knowledgeable about technology that can have jobs in the tech industry and create new forms of technology that wil change the future, no matter how old they may be.
Restoring the building into a school was the easy part, because all I had to do was find the right company to fix up the building. In only a short amount of time, the building was done, and I had to get to the hard part. I had to find a staff who was qualified to teach at the school. I also had to get people in the neighborhood to come to the school. A school is nothing without people to actually teach. I started to spread the word about the school by making flyers and putting up around the neighborhood. I also created a website where people could read more about the school and register for classes.
A couple of months later, the school was finally open, and I had a full staff to teach all of the classes. Every room in the school was packed with people who were eager to learn about technology. Every now and then I peek in on the different classes to see how everything is going, and I see many people who are deep in thought as they learn about the new points of the class. It’s a wonderful thing to see so many people want to learn about technology.
